“Do you see the poppies over there? And there is larkspur too!” No sooner has the Picnic Girl, made of cream-coloured finest mohair, discovered the summer meadow, then there is no holding back. She sniffs the flowers, spreads out her arms and lays herself down comfortably in the middle of the meadow. The stylish little bear is wearing a lace collar tied with a bow and a gold-plated “Button in Ear”. For hot days she has with her an umbrella of white cotton lace. It can be opened and closed easily – unfortunately it does not keep out the summer rains completely. This does not bother our Picnic Girl… Bring on the summer!
